Duvel Glass ‘450 years of marksmen's guild Sint-Sebastiaan’

In the surrounding area of the Moortgat brewery, festive archery contests will take place this year in celebration of a special anniversary. The archers' guild 'Sint-Sebastiaan' wants to honour all its members of the past 450 years with these anniversary shootings.

Duvel knows better than anyone that making and appreciating beer is part of the living heritage of different lifestyles throughout Belgium. It plays a role in daily life, but also on festive occasions.

Enough reasons for Duvel to use their own beer tradition to help celebrate the 450th anniversary of the Sint-Sebastiaan marksmen's guild of Meise with a unique Duvel glass.

While the archers of the Sint-Sebastiaan guild of Meise have for 450 years been aiming at one goal, Duvel has been focusing for 150 years on pouring its beer at the ideal temperature with the right amount of foam in its own specifically designed beer glass.

It is a tradition on its own, that our Duvel collectors also add this glass to their 'beloved' collection. Cupid was not an archer for nothing.
