Duvel Glass 'Los Angeles'
This Duvel glass pays tribute to the history of Los Angeles by showcasing different aspects of the city. It celebrates Hollywood's illustrious filmmaking legacy with the iconic "Duvel" Hollywood sign, the renowned Cinerama Dome, and the early film icon King Kong.
Additionally, it recognizes the ubiquitous presence of doughnut shops throughout the region, which have contributed to the cultural fascination and innovation surrounding these delectable fried treats. While novelty doughnut-shaped shops are plentiful in the area, there are also more "traditional" examples of noteworthy architecture, such as Frank Gehry's design for LACMA and the distinctive control tower and welcoming LAX sign that greet visitors.
To fully showcase the artist's design, we deliberately chose handcrafting for this Duvel glass. As a result, there are no identical glasses. Bear in mind that subtle signs of authenticity, such as scratches or small perforations, do not compromise the quality, but are actually a tangible reminder of the splendour of craftsmanship and the human aspect we treasure. This is the perfection in imperfection that allows us to let each Duvel design glass tell its own profound story. Read more.
