Duvel Glass ‘Rochester’ - 2023

The Rochester glass involves the graphic design students at Rochester Institute of Technology where designing a Duvel glass is their final project for the semester.

The student that won the contest describes her design as: ”For my entry, I wanted to incorporate the overall theme of Duvel, but still have Rochester connected as well. To accomplish this, I decides on giving the Duvel “D” the characteristics of a devil, as well as picking out the most noticeable and meaningful piece of architecture for the Rochtester skyline.”

To fully showcase the artist's design, we deliberately chose handcrafting for this Duvel glass. As a result, there are no identical glasses. Bear in mind that subtle signs of authenticity, such as scratches or small perforations, do not compromise the quality, but are actually a tangible reminder of the splendour of craftsmanship and the human aspect we treasure. This is the perfection in imperfection that allows us to let each Duvel design glass tell its own profound story.
